Our current vacancies are for Homecare Staff, who have use of a car.
The role of this post is to provide care services for people in their own homes. Our clients may include frail elderly, people with a physical disabilities, palliative care, people with a sensory impairment, adults and children, mentally ill clients, people dependent on drugs or alcohol, people who may have had a stroke or hospital admission for some reason and dementia / Alzheimer’s care.
The service home care staff provide will include:
Assisting clients in and out of bed, provide help with washing, assist with dressing and undressing, assisting a client in using the toilet, assist with using the bath or shower, assisting with incontinence care. Accompanying clients to appointments or other visits, housework, shopping, laundry, meals preparation and cooking.
These are some of the tasks that can be included in a client’s package of care.
What we expect from job candidates?
You must have one year’s experience of care work. This may have been in a Nursing or Residential home or in an NHS service establishment. You MUST be able to provide two work references, one of which must be your current or last employer.
